PENNWALT Mineral Oil Plants
Manufactured with the technology acquired from the SHARPLES-STOKES
DIVISION, Pennwalt Corp., USA.
These are skid
mounted EN Block units, centered around the tubular bowl Super
Centrifuges, designed to purify various mineral oils such as lubricating
oil, gas oil, fuel oil, crude oil etc. They are equipped with
accessories such as feed and discharge pumps and thermostatically
controlled indirect / direct heaters of the appropriate rating
to achieve the desired temperature which in turn allows the oil
to be processed at the optimal viscosity to achieve a specified
separational performance. In addition, the en-bloc unit is fully
equipped with control and safety devices such as an inlet solenoid
valve, a priming water device to create a seal, an anti-flood
level switch that triggers an alarm in the event of seal loss,
a microswitch which triggers an alarm in the event of the belt
breakage, a control panel, and interconnecting pipe work incorporating
valves, temperature indicators, pressure gauges, strainer etc.
The units can be tailor made to match the needs of a modern factory
for treatment of:
Turbine tube oil
Paper Machine Lubricating oil
Hydraulic Oil
Cutting Oil
Engine Test Bed Oil
Compressor Test Bed Oil
Rolling Mill Lubricants
Wire Drawing Lubricants
HSD and LDO
Solid particles greater than 2 µ in size can be removed and
free moisture in centrifuged oil is obtained at 150-500 ppm
depending upon the number of passes and initial moisture content
of the dirty oil.
